Chéri House was born from a simple but powerful belief: that the places we travel to deserve to be worn. Every piece in our collection is a love letter to a destination — its light, its energy, its mood. From the golden shores of West Africa to the turquoise stillness of French Polynesia, we design swimwear that carries the spirit of the world with it.

We do not compromise on construction. High-performance Xtra Life Lycra that holds its shape, color, and stretch through every trip. Original prints designed in-house. 24K gold-dipped hardware, custom-engraved with the Chéri House mark and resistant to saltwater and chlorine. One silhouette, made with intention, produced by a women-owned factory in Brazil.

The Founder

Moneifa Nance grew up immersed in Caribbean culture, captivated by the elaborate, strappy, hardware-embellished monokinis worn during Carnival season in Trinidad. She began designing her own. When a seamstress could not execute her vision, she sat down at her mother's sewing machine and learned to do it herself.

Before Chéri House, Moneifa built a career as an investment banker at Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley. She brought the same rigor to designing the Sandra Monokini: every detail (the silhouette, the hardware placement, the adjustable ties) was intentional, the product of years of self-taught sewing and designing rooted in a tradition she grew up inside.

Travel deepened the obsession. A trip to Rio de Janeiro, where swim culture is woven into daily life, solidified what Chéri House would become: a premium swimwear design house rooted in Caribbean heritage, produced by a women-owned factory in Brazil.
