Established in 2016, Chéri House Carnival is a subsidiary of Chéri House that designs and produces handmade costumes, Monday wear and accessories for Caribbean-styled Carnivals around the world. It is through designing carnival costumes Chéri House, the swimwear brand, was born. We remain grounded in our carnival roots as seen in the silhouettes and the embellishment of our swimwear.
Chéri House custom carnival designs have been seen at many carnivals. Starting at Brooklyn’s West Indian- American Parade, we’ve successfully owned and operated three consecutive carnival collections.  For Trinidad Carnival, we’ve designed and produced Monday Wear and costume enhancement pieces such as feathered headdresses, back pieces, collar pieces and jeweled tiaras.

Carnival Monday Wear

Instead of wearing the full carnival costume on both Carnival Monday and Carnival Tuesday, many Trinidad Carnival revelers opt to express their individuality on Carnival Monday by wearing bespoke swimwear. In 2017, Chéri House Carnival launched our first Monday Wear collection, Ohemaa (inspired by Ghanaian Queens), and sewed all of the bikini pieces for ourselves. Through this handmade bikini production experience, we naturally transitioned into the swimwear arena.
